Warranty terms and conditions

How long is my warranty?

All new Brompton bicycles registered in the My Brompton section of our website are covered by a 7-year unlimited mileage warranty against manufacturing and material defects for the main frame components, commencing from the date of sale.

Other non-wearing parts on the bicycle (e.g. crank arms, brake calipers, mudguards, etc.) are covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing and material defects.

Please ensure that you keep your sales invoice in a safe place for future reference.

Bicycles not registered in the My Brompton section of our website are subject to a 2-year warranty on the mainframe components, commencing from the date of sale.

Certain components are intended to wear and are therefore not covered under warranty. These include brake pads, gear and brake cables, pivot bushes and bearing surfaces, seat sleeve, seat post, tyres, and drivetrain components.

Depending on usage, we recommend a minimum of 1 service per year, after the recommended 100-mile service. For commuters or regular riders, we recommend regular inspection and servicing of your bike by your authorised Brompton retailer.

All Brompton retailers can be found here.

Information on how to register your bicycle can be found here.
